      New to Portland, the Flea-for-All is open every weekend! This juried flea market hit the ground running with a very successful opening in mid-April. The market is hoppin’ every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Everything from antique furniture to vintage clothing to handmade jewelry to classic vinyl will be on display, so whether or not you have a special item in mind, chances are you’ll find something at the opening weekend of the Portland Flea-for-All. The founders of the Flea-for-All hope to build a community resource that will encourage creation and restoration. They want to create a marketplace where anyone, regardless of age, style or budget, can find something they’d love to own.

      The American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Maine have partnered to offer a breast cancer symposium, hosted by the Portland branch of UBS Financial Services, Inc. Join this cause for an informational panel discussion about the prevention, detection, and healthy awareness of breast cancer.

    2. Pet and People Walk 2012

      SUPPORT CENTER FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN

      Support the Center for Grieving Children (CGC) by walking around Back Cove, with or without your pets. After the walk, there will be games, music and contests at Payson Park from 11:00am-12:30pm.

      This event is open to the public, so please bring your friends and family! Participants can ask friends, coworkers and family to sponsor them on their walk by making pledge donations to the Center. Local businesses can sponsor the Pet and People Walk.
